Our Story…
Boujee Music is run by husband-and-wife team Tim and Lizzie Sentance, who founded the business in 2016 after years working as professional musicians in the live events world.
Tim (saxophonist and pianist) and Lizzie (vocalist) started Boujee Music to fix what couples and planners often experience with wedding bands and agencies: inconsistent line-ups, “stand and play” performances, and planning that feels stressful instead of seamless.
Today, Boujee Music is supported by a 9-person in-house team and a trusted network of hand-picked musicians across London, the Midlands, and the South West.
Since launch, we’ve delivered 700+ weddings and events, currently supporting around 150 events per year, with a musician-led approach and an award-winning planning experience designed to make booking live music feel easy.

Tim Sentance…
Co-Founder and Director
Tim Sentance is Co-Founder and Director of Boujee Music. A saxophonist and pianist with degrees in jazz and economics, Tim founded Boujee in 2016 with Lizzie after years in live events as a working musician.
Tim built Boujee Music to deliver what the best events require: consistent musicians, show-level energy, and a calm, proactive planning process. Today, he leads the musician-first team and oversees the details that make each event run smoothly, from performance flow and timings to logistics, sound quality, and guest experience.
Lizzie Sentance…
Co-Founder
Lizzie Sentance is Co-Founder of Boujee Music. A powerhouse vocalist inspired by iconic artists like Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Anita Baker, Lizzie helped shape Boujee’s signature style: charismatic stage energy, inclusive crowd interaction, and a premium finish (without anything feeling forced or cheesy).
Lizzie and Tim met performing in a wedding band and later toured in Les 3 Vallées, where Boujee’s high-energy and interactive style approach was born. At Boujee Music, Lizzie plays a key role in shaping the sound and performance quality of every act, ensuring each event feels personal, polished, and unforgettable.

Who is behind Boujee Music?
Boujee Music was founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Tim & Lizzie, and we still run it today. We started as working musicians and performers ourselves, which means everything we do is built on real live-show experience. How the bands are put together, how the energy builds through the night, and the details that turn great music into a standout experience. Today, we’ve grown to a team of 9, all with performance and musician experience, covering everything from enquiries and band leadership to our award-winning Boujee planning team. So from the moment you book, you’ve got real people (who genuinely get weddings) looking after you right through to the big day.
How long have you been providing live music for weddings and events?
Boujee Music has been running since 2016, and live events are all we do. We’ve built a specialist team, a proper planning process, and a roster of performers we fully trust, so you get a premium experience from first dance to final encore.
Are your bands exclusive to Boujee Music?
Yes, 100%. Every Boujee band is created from scratch and only available through Boujee Music, so you won’t find the same line-up, medleys, arrangements, or performance style anywhere else.
Will we have direct contact with the musicians, or do you manage everything for us?
We manage it all for you. We handle musician comms, scheduling, and all the key performance details, so you’re not chasing individuals or relaying messages. Your band will arrive fully briefed and ready to deliver, and you can just enjoy the day.
Are we able to request specific singers?
Absolutely. If you’ve got a favourite vocalist or musician, we love that. Tell us who you’re hoping for and we’ll build that into your plans from the start. The reason we run it this way is simple: the best musicians in the industry are also in demand for tours, sessions and other top-level work, so we don’t rely on any one individual. Instead, each Boujee band has a trusted core team of musicians who rehearse and perform together week in, week out. Just like a show in the West End or on Broadway, the cast might vary, but the show stays exactly the same. Whoever performs, you still get the Boujee experience: high-energy performance, signature medleys and mash-ups, and that fun audience interaction that keeps the dance floor energised. What happens if a musician is ill?
You’re in safe hands. We have a large roster of top-tier musicians who regularly rehearse and perform with our bands, so if anyone’s unable to perform, we can replace them seamlessly without compromising the quality or the show.
Have you won any awards?
We have, and we’re proud of every one. We’ve won the Guides for Brides Customer Service Award for Live Music three years running (2022, 2023 and 2024), and were Highly Commended in 2025. We’ve also been nominated for Best Band at the RSVP Awards (formerly Bridelux) in both 2022 and 2026. Beyond awards, we’ve been featured in Hello! Magazine, on BBC News, and on Rock My Wedding, and Tim has spoken at major industry events including WedCon, the RSVP Symposium and Guides for Brides.
